Hi

I want to start by addressing the pink elephant in the room.

It has become very apparent to me that many of us, yes, me included, have been feeling a bit restless as of late. Maybe even a bit stuck and directionless.

I don't know about you, but during the shoulder season between October and December, I begin chomping on the bit. I want to KNOW what's coming up next year! I want to be ready! I'm tired of spiralling around the drain! I need a plan of action!

Can you relate?

So, this morning, I woke up with an epiphany I need to share with you. It came right after one of our Oracle shares in the Clarity Seekers Community. One of the members pulled a card for me that basically told me to cool my jets and relax. It implied I was exhausted and needed to get in my time-out chair. WTF? I'm an Aries!! Time-out chairs are akin to the electric chair for us!

The message I heard... yes, HEARD... was "Be more and do less."

Let's face it. We live in a world that celebrates constant motion, endless ambition and productivity, which can easily lead us into the trap of believing we are never enough.

Whether it’s taking yet another course, seeking the next certificate of achievement, or obsessing over how to improve, the underlying message is often the same: "Who I am now is not enough."

My recent epiphany to “be more and do less” asked me to pause, reflect, and question this relentless pursuit, which is, frankly, dare I say, exhausting.

So let me ask you this.

Are you chasing growth because it aligns with your true desire or because your self-worth feels at risk if you don’t?

Listen, pursuing new knowledge or self-improvement isn't wrong. But when it becomes an obsession, when we chase certificates and credentials that will eventually collect dust on our walls, it's time to rethink why we chased them in the first place.

Trust me when I say... I have my share of certificates, but they no longer hang on my walls. They are stuffed in a box in my garage. Why? Because they no longer define who I am or how good I am. They don't quantify my worth. But they used to. However, I have learned that certificates are often external validations that can never fully replace my internal acceptance. Amen to that!

So, what does it mean to "be more"?

To be more is to live with intention, cultivating presence and aligning with your inner truth. It’s about recognizing that your worth isn’t tied to how much you accomplish but rather to the energy and authenticity you bring to each moment. Being more is about letting your light shine. It's not through effort but by simply embracing who you are.

But why should we "do less"?

When we do less, we create space for what truly matters. It’s not about abandoning responsibility but about discerning between what is essential and what is just noise. Doing less allows us to focus our energy on meaningful connections, purposeful actions, and nurturing our well-being. Maybe that's why I have stepped away from scrolling mindlessly through FB and IG feeds.

How About Celebrating What You’ve Already Created?

What if, instead of rushing to do more or learn more, you took a moment to honor what you’ve already accomplished?

How would it feel to reflect on the wisdom you’ve gained, the lives you’ve touched, and the person you’ve become?

This isn’t about complacency but recognizing that your value isn’t in the next milestone. Your value is already within you!

How Can You Break Free from the Cycle?

  1. Ask ‘Why’ Before Saying ‘Yes’: When tempted to take on more, pause and ask yourself - Is this truly for me, or am I trying to prove something?

  2. Redefine Growth: Growth doesn’t always require action. Sometimes, the most profound transformations come from sitting still, reflecting, and integrating what you’ve already learned. OMG, that's tough but so worth doing!

  3. Challenge Your Need for Validation: Remember that your worth isn’t tied to a piece of paper or external recognition. You are enough as you are, even when those papers are in a rough tote in your garage.

  4. Focus on Being Present Over Progressing: Progress is valuable, but presence is transformative. Be here now. The rest will follow.

I have discovered that by letting go of my incessant need to improve, I've created space for deeper self-awareness and authenticity. I hope you will soon realize that life isn’t about how much you achieve but how deeply you connect - with yourself, others, and the present moment.

What would change if you trusted that you are already enough? Would you dare to slow down, to stop proving, and start living?
